Sheriff Ott is leading the way in P.A. with Permitium!

We recently spoke with Sheriff Ott in Blair County P.A. about their partnership with Permitium and the positive impact it has had within his office and for his staff since March of 2020. Sheriff Ott was the first in Pennsylvania to go live with our software so we wanted to not only showcase what our software has done to help Blair County, we also wanted to take time to highlight Sheriff Ott for his willingness to implement new technology for the citizens of his county.

Since March the obvious challenge for us all has been dealing with the COVID19 pandemic and allowing citizens to continue to exercise their second amendment rights and obtain a conceal carry permit to do so. However, Permitium does so much more than just give online access. Sheriff Ott explains that: "prior to Permitum our office was a money order only office and people show up thinking they can use cash or debit/credit cards and we would have to send them back out to purchase a money order to complete the process. Now with Permitium we are not limited by the payment that can be used for conceal carry licenses."
